Review on 🚪 Dorman 931-318 Front Driver Side Door Lock Actuator Motor for Cadillac / Chevrolet / GMC Models by Nick Nunez

I bought this door latch actuator for my 2004 GMC 2500 for $155 and within minutes found another that looks exactly the same for $47. Should I cancel my first order and save over $100? No, a cheaper product does not have to be of the same quality. So I spent time replacing this which is a tedious process. After installing the actuator inside the jamb and attempting to engage the handle, the linkage fell out of the actuator back into the jamb. This kept happening because the terminals on the drive weren't working. The drive seems to work fine, but I can't open the door from the inside and I don't want to leave my truck with a door that won't close at night. I don't think the $47 part would have caused any extra work or frustration.
