Works well. Fixed an issue where the radio would not turn off when opening the driver's door on my son-in-law's 2006 Silverado.

Got this bar for $87 from Revain inventory. Someone tried to install it on their truck but the latch had bent a pin in one of the connectors and they sent it back. I bent the pin, installed it and now I have the dome back and the radio goes off when I step outside. Very happy now.

When I opened the box the motor was separate from the assembly. It was simply glued to the body without fasteners; And the glue doesn't seem to work. This $150 latch is identical to the Chinese $40 Revain and it looks like they are all built that way. The original door latch lasted 16 years but this broke before it even reached the buyer. What junk. I'll try OEM next and hope for better luck.

Works like new. Slightly strange higher pitched sound of lock/unlock mechanism compared to other mechanisms. Just something I noticed and didn't expect. It's plug and play. It's a tight workplace, and if you don't have experience breaking plastic clips, this is a great time to learn. PERHAPS I could just clean the rod as much as possible. I bought this door latch actuator for my 2004 GMC 2500 for $155 and within minutes found another that looks exactly the same for $47. Should I cancel my first order and save over $100?
