I was looking for a cost effective UPS shipping weighing solution for my office and came across this product. I have only used Pelouze scales in other offices in the past but in this case the cost difference just wasn't worth it as we only use the scale a couple of times a month. In terms of price and capacity, this was a good buy. I have assembled and tested the scale and so far it has proven to be fairly accurate. I agree with other reviewers that the clock function on the scale makes no sense. Who needs a watch on the scale? All of this shortens battery life. Luckily, it comes with an AC adapter so you can ignore the batteries. As other reviewers have pointed out, the coiled cord between the remote and the scale is quite short, making it difficult to hold the remote on a standard-height table while weighing a package. My other complaint is that the power adapter fell apart the first time I tried to unplug it. Luckily it snapped into place and didn't damage the adapter. I removed one star from my rating for these issues. Again, don't expect a premium product at this price point. But if the device continues to perform as before, it will be more than sufficient for my needs. For those who only need to weigh packages every now and then I think this will do. If you have an office that does reputable shipping I would look at a different product.
