This worked fine for me and serves its purpose perfectly with a wired keyboard and mouse, Supermicro 826-12, HPe DL380 G9, DVR and a bunch of Raspberry Pi 4. I agree agree with others about switching delays; However, it's not that bad. While this is much slower than what I'm used to in my data centers, for my personal home use it's MUCH cheaper than alternative enterprise solutions. Opinion. Also, I don't know what other people are talking about. If a person can read, that person can simply turn off both the beep and the scan, this is clearly marked on the front of the device. There is definitely a star deduction because of the delay when switching. Another weird thing, I guess I'm not entirely sure, it might just be in my head, but I swear the image on the monitor is a bit darker. I mean it's barely noticeable and I can only imagine or be finicky.
