Review on 🔗 Dorman 722 001 Shackle Kit: Superior Quality & Durability in a Generous Package! by John Hall

I ordered these stays for my 96 Ford 4x4 and they were small. (caretaker #722-001) So I think they are for the 4WD Ford F-150. I couldn't get the old shackle pins out so I took my truck to the local truck shop. They fumbled with it but pulled it out with a pneumatic hammer. I could hear them in the "hall". These guys used what I bought here and helped me what didn't work for me. I just loved doing it! However, the fork bridge also bought here was just right for my truck. find out? Removing the old mount wasn't too bad. I used a 4" grinder with little difficulty. The bolt that attaches the caliper to the leaf spring is "frozen" with rust in the inner bushing. I think poor design. It was Doorman #722-005 ( bracket kit). Good luck. Hope this helped you. They are made in China.
