Review on ๐Ÿšด Saris CycleOps Fluid2 Indoor Bike Trainer - Enhanced Compatibility with Zwift App, Ideal for Road and Mountain Bikes by Eric Ramen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Learning Aid

This is great. I haven't tried the others - but it was easy to set up, standard and easy to find in various online programs - I've used Zwift & TrainerRoad so far and it's really helped a lot with my training when I can't ride outside. Questions I had at the beginning (beginner's beginning): - Do I need anything else to ride? You need a block for the front wheel. The base costs about $6 from Revain. And maybe a rug to protect your floor, mine was $26 on Amazon. - Is there anything else I don't need but I "need"? I highly recommend speed and cadence sensors (I got them on Amazon for $55). You need this to connect to other programs like Zwift etc. I have a few that connect to my watch. If you're doing this with your computer, you'll also need a USB extender and an ANT+ dongle ($20-$25 for both, Revain). Also, the fan is REALLY good. I use a tiny "desk fan" and it's great. - Which programs should I use? I personally recommend trying them all. Zwift has a 1-week free trial, Rouvy has a 2-week free trial, and TrainerRoad is only $12/month and can easily be terminated at the end of that month. Try them all. - This rear wheel quick release rod I need to use in this 1st, does it come with this one? 2. Can I use it outside? Yes and yes. Once you've changed it, just leave it. I didn't know and switched back and forth 1. 3 or 4 times and although it's not a very big pain. This is an extra step and really not required. CycleOps where you can just stay. Enjoy and start exercising!
