Missing "included " parts - simply request a replacement

Product - looks good. I think so as it came without all the shopping materials so I am currently unable to use it. Damn. I'm not sure if anyone else had this problem due to missing two screws and a handle. Disappointed. Update: I called Cycle Ops and explained my situation and they sent me the missing parts. No hassles, just good customer service. Improvement!

Great trainer for bike trainers and accessories

Great trainer and easy to set up. It took about 10 minutes from unpacking to being ready for use. smoothness and road feel. Very quiet too - 76dB around 80rpm. I've had this trainer for a little over a week and only ridden a few miles as I still ride outdoors. But I'm looking forward to riding more indoors once it gets colder. Another nice thing about the trainer is that you can set up your bike and record your riding position on video.

Works perfectly. - Cycling

Product works great, easy to set up, high stability. The resistance is controlled by changing gears. The noise level is slightly higher than a loud conversation. I can watch TV and hear sound without any problems. I was surprised and worried that he didn't bring any documents. But since he's a good environmentalist, he can download it to his phone. No climbing cushion required. Just take the rest of the rug and a 2x4 piece. but I don't need a climbing block. It's really sustainable. I can lean…

Great trainer to start with.

This is a great way to start learning - in my case using Zwift. There are no problems connecting to the bike. I'm an advanced spin/cycler and this meets 80% of my needs. It's great for the price. He has a puncture, but if you buy yellow training tires there will be no more problems. (Harder formulation.) My only issue is that the liquid takes about 5-10 minutes to warm up and offer good resistance - hence inaccurate (light) watts in the beginning when you just need to dip. Also no. It's not a…

Love it but too expensive and no lift block

Before that I had 2 trainers (magnetic and then liquid, same brand). It looks better and it's easier to load your bike. The noise is low, most of the noise comes from the tire, use a regular tire, but read that there are special tires that make the ride almost silent. Very durable. Defects? Too expensive but you can tell it's made of better materials than other running shoes. Also, it doesn't come with a lifting block, which is needed to get one, more money! Its worth it? I like it even though…

It would be possible to use more resistance, but you can do without it.

Bought for those cool and windy days when driving on the road is too tiring. I'm 75 years old and have a 40mm x 700mm cyclocross/gravel profile with small lugs. These tires howl quite a bit at speed when I'm training, that's 75 pedal strokes per minute in 2nd high gear (52t chainring and 13t cassette), which would equate to about 16 mph on the road. It is not conceivable to use this trainer with a lower geared mountain bike as the fluid resistance would be too low. I wish there was a way to…

Learning Aid

This is great. I haven't tried the others - but it was easy to set up, standard and easy to find in various online programs - I've used Zwift & TrainerRoad so far and it's really helped a lot with my training when I can't ride outside. Questions I had at the beginning (beginner's beginning): - Do I need anything else to ride? You need a block for the front wheel. The base costs about $6 from Revain. And maybe a rug to protect your floor, mine was $26 on Amazon. - Is there anything else I don't…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
