I'm completing the review. I have had this product for more than 2 years now. I have now actually switched to a 5 star rating. This product still works great and I haven't had any issues. I only use distilled water in it, which probably helps keep the mineral buildup going. I clean it every 6 months or so. But it still works just as well as the day I bought it. I'll be expanding it to a second habitat soon - hopefully it works for two habitats as well as one. I highly recommend this product. I've had this product for a little over a month. I have to say I was concerned after reading some of the reviews about the leak. But I wanted something like this for my (new) poison dart frog habitat without having to build anything right away. When it arrived I made sure it was installed in a Tupperware container large enough to hold all the water should it spill. So far without incident. I like the dial so I can control the density of the fog. I set this to medium and a timer that comes every hour, 15 times a day for 10 minutes. This works really well for my plants in their natural habitat (they grow really fast!) and one of my frogs - she loves to sit right where the mist starts. The only thing I don't like - and the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars - is that you have to refuel from below. Sure, I have to refill it about every almost 2 weeks, but I have to remove the top hose, remove the canister, and then place it on a towel to remove the bottom cap and refill. I have arthritis so I have to put it on something to fill it up as I can't hold it and pour water. I wish it had an easy charging method. Aside from the refill, this is a great smoke machine for me. I absolutely recommend it.
