Pretty solid but don't over tighten the screws
Easy to put together, they come in two different sizes so I guess all the complaints are mismatched holes. I suspect they just put the wrong base with the wrong piece of wood. I wouldn't over tighten the screws as you will hear the wood creak when tightened. They look decent enough too.
