If you have short hair I don't think this VERY deep diffuser is for you. If you have shoulder length or longer hair, you will love it when you find the right hair dryer. I bought a 2nd gen Amaxy Infared and it fit great but the dryer was too heavy for my arthritic hands. This is a wonderful hair dryer. So if you don't have any problems with your hands, I highly recommend him! Some use SnozzlePro and it seems to work pretty well. Others removed the middle ring and installed it on their dryer. Both sometimes have a desiccant drip problem, so be careful. I got lucky trying this diffuser with my Elchim 3900 light and it fit! Best of all, no alterations are needed and it stays perfect even when I press the dryer on my hair/head. (By the way, a custom diffuser is fine, but it's much better for my long hair and costs about the same). If you want a comparison to Xtava Black Orchid I think they are both great deep diffusers. . The deep bowl and long "fingers" help dry the roots without over-drying the tips. The spirals woven into my hair with the Denman D3 also remain intact. You can't go wrong with either version as long as they match your dryer properly.
