The product description states that they can be used for dry cleaning. That's why I bought it and that's why I sent it back. They only scatter dirt and dust. That's fine if you just want to make a mess, but then you'll need to get yourself a broom and dustpan, which really defeats the purpose of a brush. I wanted to save money over time and help the environment, but that's not the solution. .I suppose they are good for wet swallowing, but I haven't tried it for that.
