I bought this more expensive model of glue gun thinking it would be better for melting flexible sealing wax for letters etc. I was struggling to figure out if the sticks could be removed from the gun at will , but couldn't get an answer to my question, so I took a chance and ordered this one. I figured since it's a professional model you could remove and swap out the sticks, but that wasn't the case. They make sealing wax in sticks of different colors, suitable for glue guns for this very purpose. While the gun works fine, I'm disappointed that you can't remove the sealing wax after installing it. Once you decide to use a wand of a certain color, you must leave it in the weapon until it runs out. So you can't change the stick to change the color of the sealing wax. If I knew that, I'd buy some very inexpensive glue guns to dedicate to each wax color.
