No more buying disposable lighters for me and donating to our dump! This little device is SO handy during candle season. It's very easy to use and works really well, just press the safety button, turn it on and the pens will come out with an electric/charging 'flame'. Touch the wick and voila, the candle burns. I haven't used it for anything else, but I've never used my lighter for anything other than candles. I haven't even charged it since opening the package and it's worked like a champ so far; However, it comes with a short (6″) micro USB cable. I thought it was plastic, so I was pleasantly surprised that it looks like brushed aluminum. After lighting the candle, the tip isn't hot, so I just replace it. in a box with no cooling time. I'm curious how this would work on starting a fire, but I think it'll have to wait until the restrictions on burning fires are lifted. Until then, I am completely satisfied with my purchase and will be buying more stockings for my candle-loving friends!
