I disassembled to use LED motors in ceiling fans
I needed LED motors to upgrade my ceiling fan's halogen lights. I took these lights apart and only used LED motors as it's a lot cheaper than buying LED motors outright. Worked fine, but remember that the control transistors generate quite a bit of heat and you need to dissipate that heat. See my photos of the modified ceiling fan.
