Read other reviews and was concerned to send a demo. The item I received was like new without the original UE packaging (let's face it, we throw that crap out anyway). The Boom connects to the Boom app and other Boom speakers I already have. The sound quality at higher levels is on par with other speakers I've had, which isn't fantastic, but the thing is waterproof, which is an advantage. I've had the speaker for a week now, will update my review if there are any issues. The only downside is that there is no inverter for the socket, only a cable. A slight annoyance that doesn't matter considering you're buying a $40 wireless charger and it's still under the asking price of the speaker itself when new.
