For $90 I expected this product to perform like a refurbished product and look like new/function normal. Neither was true. It was covered in dirt, weird slime and dirt stuck in the speaker part and the paint was chipped and faded and looked badly worn. Read other reviews and was concerned to send a demo. The item I received was like new without the original UE packaging (let's face it, we throw that crap out anyway). I have a lot of high quality audio, a KEF R5 Parasonic amp etc. I like the sound which is natural and not overdone. This speaker does just that. If you expect big bass from a small speaker like this, just look for something imprecise, as such a small speaker shouldn't have good bass. My speaker has a problem. 1) For some reason they won't connect to the UE Boom app on my phone. 2) Because I can't connect to the app, my speaker goes off every 15 minutes EXCEPT when I'm interacting with my speakers, which is half the time.
