When I first received it I wasn't impressed. These are very small lights and I didn't think they would be very noticeable. In my area some drivers are cutting corners and I walk my dogs at night so I had to see something. I was wrong. When I tested them my wife said she could see flashing lights a block away and even saw a flashing light up front when I leaned over to pick up some dog debris. I use a slow flash (3rd option) to maximize battery life and I think the flashing gets more attention than the steady on. The clip on the back of the flashlight is very useful when attaching it to something tight like a shirt pocket or a single belt. If the strap is too thick, you can use the velcro strap that comes with the flashlight and attach it that way. Haven't had to change batteries yet, but you have to deal with screws instead of just cycling the battery on and off. compartment cover. I think this will be a bit of an annoyance as these are LED lights and the battery is lithium. Overall I thought it was great for the money. I use two headlights (front and rear) but you get four headlights so I have a spare. I really wish they had more color options, like full orange, but that's a bit picky.
