I bought these for my 2012 F-150 to use when towing a rented 26ft RV trailer and they have worked great. It had excellent grip on my mirrors, stayed ultra secure and didn't rattle for 1,000 miles of driving, including pretty bad weather. They're not motorized, of course, so it took a bit of fiddling to get them in the right spot, but once they were in place I could see behind the trailer pretty well on the freeway. I was concerned that they might not be wide enough, but felt like they allowed me to see what I needed. I dropped off a rented trailer about a week ago and I still haven't removed the mirrors from my truck - I think I should at some point but they really don't bother me.
