The problem with most dishwashing detergents is that they stick to sponges, which quickly become breeding grounds for smelly bacteria. This product, on the other hand, is not only useful for washing dirty dishes, teflon pans, etc. effectively and without scratching, but its intertwined fibers allow air and water to pass, thus preventing the accumulation of bacteria. This is the scrubber I've been looking for for many years. The pads are a bit hard and rough right out of the box, but will soften over time. One of these should last at least a year with average use.
