Tried the cream to repair a pair of badly battered Eastland Moc fingers (8 years old) which we have NEVER conditioned. The skin completely rescued and brought back to life. This gave me the confidence to try it on my iron rangers, which were only slightly dry and should have been my first conditioning. There are absolutely no reviews online showing the results of using Cobblers Selection Cream on Red Wing Amber's skin, so I was a bit nervous at first. With any conditioner, you need to find your preferred balance of original color retention and deep conditioning/protection. I cleaned the boots with a brush, wiped with a damp cloth, allowed to dry completely, then applied a very small amount to the boots with a microfiber cloth. Apply/remove cream after approx. 15 minutes and leave on for 24 hours before applying. Yes, it's a few shades darker, but it looks and feels amazingly soft and smooth. Areas around the toe that are curved show a lighter brown. I recommend everyone to use this cream or less waxy conditioner!
