Review on 🔔 CYBERNOVA Upgraded WiFi USB Siren Alarm with Temperature & Humidity Sensor: Alexa and Google Home Compatible by Kyle Gresham

Revainrating 4 out of 5

If you're looking for Alexa integration, look elsewhere; if you don't care, then that's great.

To begin with, I wouldn't make a problem with Alexa and put a star if they didn't try to use it as a selling point. In fact, of course, Alexa will see that you have it, but that's about it. You can turn on the alarm BUT WHY? The alarm clock is designed to alert you to a problem, unless you're using the alarm clock as a prank to startle someone, why would an Alexa part be useful? You can't see metrics, you can't get notifications, you can't even have an Alexa alarm. So now for the rest; As a sensor it is ok. I installed this in my outdoor solar building for our off grid homestead. I keep it close to key components and it barely performs compared to all my other gauges. I power it via USB from my VenusGX and it works great. It has a decibel alarm, but since it's not in our building it's not very useful. What you can do is use the Smart Life app. This allows you to control the actual temperature and humidity. You can use the alarm settings and automation options in Smart Life to activate the procedure when the alarm goes off. I then use this to create a flash of light inside the house. You can set it to anything that might work for you.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Concise instructions
