Review on Start X Remote Starter 4Runner 2010 2019 by Madansaireddy Aldridge

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It worked with some effort. You need a T-connector.

The starter starts and stops the Toyota 4Runner by touching the interlock wire. The required faucet is NOT included. With an extra cheap T-connection it would be 100% ready to go. If the T-connection is designed to accommodate both the size of the vehicle's wiring harness and the smaller wire going to the relay, the installation becomes much easier and clearer. I had to lower my rating by 2 stars due to the complexity this added to the project. . The connectors took several minutes, but the T-connection could not penetrate the outer shell due to the different gauges of wire, and troubleshooting took an hour. The manual might state that the yellow wire's corresponding pin should be dragged to the ground to simulate a lock clicking. I determined this by checking the latching relay wiring configuration. After pulling the pin to the ground 3 times it worked immediately confirming a bad connection to the fuse wire.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad
