This is useful on snow covered windshields
I wanted something to reduce the snow/defrost time for my car. This product really helps for my purposes, although not 100%. The magnets had to be both up and down, not just down because when it gets windy the top moves down exposing part of the windshield. IDK about heat, it's winter now, everything is cold. In general, it helped during the ice storm.
