Review on 🔧 KYB 343272 Excel-G Gas Shock Absorber in Black and Silver by Cris Drew

These are excellent OEM quality aftermarket replacement shock absorbers. They are made in Japan and fit perfectly on the back of our 2004 RAV4. The shock absorbers are backed by a lifetime guarantee and each comes with a package of new mounting hardware and rubber bushings. My wife previously replaced the original OEM shocks on her RAV4 with a pair of Munroe 37199 shocks which were purchased at the local Midas store and installed for eighty five dollars each plus labor and took a little over two years to complete. before the one on the right started to lose fluid. This time I was able to swap them out for them with these KYB shocks, which are each less than half the price and will no doubt last a lot longer than Tokicos overpriced Monroe shocks. Installing these new replacement shocks was fairly easy and straightforward, requiring only a 14mm open-end wrench, although two 14mm spanners would have made tightening the top lock nut easier by holding the nut in place directly underneath to tighten it. We are very happy with the ride quality of these shocks and the price of each one here at Revain was also the best I could find.
