First purchase of a Mitutoyo product. (I'm just getting into metalworking as a hobby.) If the quality of this rule is indicative of Mituoyo's quality (and I'm sure it is), I will buy more products made by them. - picky detail: it's a bit thicker than we'd like. (Actually, it doesn't actually flex. It will flex, but with enough force to make you worry you'll overcome the steel's elasticity.) Other than that, the finish is good and the markings are crisp. and easy to read. Overall this is a five star product, especially for the price. If you need a six inch machinist ruler with both metric and US markings this will not disappoint.
