Review on Retevis RT22 Walkie Talkies: Rechargeable Hands-Free 2-Way Radios (6 Pack) with Multi-Gang Charger - Stay Connected Anywhere! by John Patterson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works for my purpose

These were purchased for short-term use in the immediate vicinity in the event of a power failure. Impression. As usage increases I will update this review. Items required assembly and batteries installed but no documentation. In the end I was able to figure out the installation of the battery and attach the clamps. The charging station was a little finicky at first, some charging stations wouldn't charge, but eventually I was able to get all the radios to charge. It just seems like some don't match certain ports. The clips also have to be removed before charging, which is why I decided to give it four stars instead of five. In addition, I found the channel switching process a little fiddly as you had to keep pressing the button to change channels compared to a regular button. It also announces your channel out loud, meaning you can't silently switch to a specific one without announcing it to everyone. This can be a problem if you're trying to remain unobtrusive or switch without all six radio holders knowing which channel it is. The construction seems solid enough, although they haven't really been tested in this regard. I bought them for. Only consider these disadvantages if you use them for other purposes.

Pros
  • Includes 6-way multi-block charger with multiple charging protections; load; overvoltage and short circuit protection; safer charge 6 sets of radios or batteries at the same time
Cons
