Before I installed this disk, I had a WD 300 GB drive, I forget the exact model, it constantly cracked, worked slowly, I figured it was a matter of shortcomings in RAM, but after installing this disk, the noises stopped and the computer hasn't slowed down in over two years, and I haven't had a single complaint about it.
