I found this plastic cork remover to be cheaply made. The one I ordered said it was metal. The new version was plastic so I specifically ordered the metal version but they still sent me the plastic version. It costs $20. You get what you paid for, that's the key to success. I wanted a strong metal corkscrew to open wine bottles. Like I said, the one they sent me was plastic. Sent it back and paid $50 for the best corkscrew I have ever used. ZWILLING JA HENCKELS sommelier corkscrew lever, stainless steel. I just used it to open a good pinot noir and have a glass while writing this review.
