Review on 🌑️ Temtop Formaldehyde Temperature Humidity Rechargeable Monitor: Accurate Monitoring for Formaldehyde Levels, Temperature, and Humidity by Kevin Carr

Pooh. Broken stand, faulty sensors and horrible user interface

On the first day the stand tabs broke after an hour of use. This was clearly an afterthought as the protrusions are plastic and about 1.5mm in diameter. The sensors are accurate when they work, but this device has crashed multiple times, with the HCHO and TVOC sensors getting stuck at max readings of 5.0 and 9.999, respectively. Later that day both gauges stayed at 0.000 for at least 20 minutes. This is not possible indoors. Resetting the device does not resolve this condition. The PM2.5 sensor seems to continue to work stably. Less important is that the humidity sensor is far away. Not exactly at all. UI - why the heck is HCHO the largest (primary) value displayed on this device? And you can't change the display at all. C/F temperature units cannot be changed.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak
