Gillette Venus Convenient but not perfect: my truthful feedback

I have long dreamed of buying myself a razor for girls. I just always forget to buy disposable machines, and they are required quite often. There are quite a lot of similar products in stores and the choice is huge. As a result, I simply trusted my intuition and visual sensations and chose the Gillette Venus ProSkin Sensitive model. The reverse side of the package: it is double and to read the information you need to bend the top layer: The upper part is an advertisement instruction Well, a little acquaintance with this product. I liked the packaging, it also played an important role in the purchase. Replacement cassettes included 2 Suction cup - holder Well, the handle itself from the machine. A very convenient suction cup that is attached to the tile in the bathroom: It looks like this when assembled. Really convenient, always in the bathroom and at hand, and most importantly, hygiene and minimum space on the shelf. Replaceable cassettes are included. They are protected from drying out by sealed packaging with a film. As for the handle. It is thought out to the smallest detail: It can be seen that there are ribbed silicone inserts - due to them, the handle does not slip in the hand. In addition, there are anatomical pits and bends, which is also quite convenient for use. Changing cassettes takes place literally in a second. You just need to move a small valve and the cassette will fall off, and put a new one in a minute. Pull to the end and you're done. This is what a new unused head assembly looks like: If we compare the blade with the male machine, then they differ in size only due to moisturizing strips. And they have the same shaving part. I would like to pay more attention to such a nuance. The head has a fairly wide angle of motion and floats along anatomical curves. Photo for a visual overview: the head is pressed The head is bent as much as possible: As for the ease of use of the machine. He does his job well. I decided to apply it on the most difficult case - and tested its work on my husband's leg. Since he is the hairiest of all family members, after a cat (it’s a pity to shave a cat and the machine too :)) The husband agreed to only a small part of the leg. Photo BEFORE: Due to the fact that my husband has rather long hair, the machine quickly clogged with hair, it was necessary to rinse it. I think for girls it will not be so critical, since I don’t think that girls will grow hair to such a length. Now let me show you how this machine works. My leg (or rather part of it). I understand that it is not aesthetically pleasing, but somehow more clearly: WELL, and after processing. The skin is smooth, but the feeling of dryness and peeling remains. So I turned to creams after treatment (in the photo, the condition of the skin without cream) As for the condition of the head after the first use, wherever it was required. After being wet for a while, the moisturizing liners began to "snot" in the truest sense of the word. They reminded me of softened and long-soaked soap in water. At the same time, this plaque, which is more like snot, remained on the skin and reached for the hands, the only thing was easily washed off and due to it the skin was not injured even in the most delicate places. Of course, I have nothing to compare with, since this is my first machine, but here I certainly didn't expect this. In general, with such a machine it is much more convenient to support your body and remove hair lines. I am not a supporter of depilatory cream or strips, it is easier and more convenient for me to use a regular machine. Undoubtedly, such machines, although more expensive, but with them the whole procedure is much faster, and due to the floating head with blades, it is less traumatic. But the only unpleasant surprise I described above, so it's up to you to purchase it or another model. Finances do not allow me to buy another machine yet (and the handle itself is quite comfortable), but nevertheless I will try to find other cassettes for the machine next time, but suitable for this handle. Since I have nothing to compare with, I give the machine 4 points.
