They do NOT lick! Best in birds
I have had one of these feeders for at least five years and have never had a leak problem. Despite many leaky reviews, I recently bought another one based on my past experience. It doesn't leak either. I can't help but think it all came down to operator error and not a manufacturing issue. I think people are unreliable when they screw the base on the bottle, or misalign the base parts. But I've disassembled mine, cleaned it and refilled it countless times and it doesn't leak.
