Review on Efficient And Spacious Drymate XL Dish Drying Mat: Waterproof, Slip-Resistant, And Trimmable - Perfect For Your Kitchen Counter (Surf Green 3) by Jeff Apel

Better than expected

I was pleasantly surprised in the durability and quality of this drying mat (so far). We were using paper towel or kitchen towels to dry dishes before - leaving those towels soaking wet. This has a wicking quality that dries very well and leaves no pooling water. After a few weeks, I moved the pad and it was firmly "stuck" to the quartz and I had to peel it up, there were just a few slight water lines where it made an impression from being on the counter. You'll probably want to move this around regularly as it will do this, you also kind of want it to do this to stay in place and flat. I mention this not as a gripe, just setting an expectation. I'm ordering a second one for the other side of the sink. Well worth the money.

Pros
  • It's easy to fold and store in a drawer or cabinet when not in use.
Cons
  • May not be as effective as a microfiber towel for drying
