Review on Enhance Safety & Functionality with Fit System Driver πŸ” Side Mirror for Toyota Prius: PTM Cover, Foldaway, Heated Power by John Frazier

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great buy, I included key replacement steps

I ordered this because one of those big white Iowa dicks decided to run to my car and take out the original mirror, he ran away and it was a cheap one Problem Solution (5 minutes). So it's not as bad as car reindeer running around. Firstly, it was shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition, despite the shipping box being destroyed and a large hole made in it with a clerical knife. It also had a return label from Revains Returns, which I hadn't ordered, so I was less than impressed to see it on my porch. But I pulled it out of the hole that was already in the box and unwrapped it and it was perfect. I collected a small set of heads, 2 screwdrivers went to the car and after 5 minutes I drove to a meeting by car. It's easier to replace. 1. Remove the top speaker directly from the door with your bare hands (easy to do), all the screws are now exposed but the wiring harness is out of reach behind the door panel. 3. Take a Phillips screwdriver and remove the screw and then the shell from the door latch handle. 4. Take a flathead screwdriver and pry and remove the insert behind the door latch and then remove the screw behind it. 5. There is a handle at the bottom of the doorknob, put your hand in and pull, and the panel should come off, it's not that easy for me, but I used a couple of channel locks as leverage and tightened. in the hand hole. 6. Lift the loosened panel when it gets stuck on the door by the window and gently let it hang there, but the wiring, insulation, etc. * If you watch YouTube, many of them spend a lot of time trying to fix the Remove door handle Trimming, detaching and removing. Panel with locks, power windows and mirrors. Also, they completely destroyed the door panel by reassembling everything and gluing the insulation together. You don't have to do any of this, just unplug the old one and plug in the new one. 7. We screw in the mirror and screw in the new one (ridiculously easy). 8. After checking the mirror, reinstall the panel in reverse order. Okay, my car is white and the mirror isn't painted black. The original is black and white with a painted white insert, I will leave it black and replace with another mirror, it looks nice and is cheaper and easier than painting the matching insert. I also find that the mirror is better than the original in optical quality and just as good in all other respects. Hope this helps and one more thing, if you have a broken old mirror hanging there cut the wires and smash it, the wires on the outside of the car match the new mirror and connect inside so don't take chances scratch the paint. an old mirror, if that's where it hangs.
