It's my fault as I'm sure it says so in the description but it's a stationary item. It doesn't fold up for easy storage or convert into something smaller. It must remain assembled and fully seated at all times. While it was of good quality and beautiful for common spaces like the living room, it is not very functional in the sense that you cannot easily put it away. You will always have this big thing in your living room.
