I'm a true wordsmith as you can tell from my title lol bought this and a large square shower head to update our standard. basic shower setting. This extension is really strong. My only gripe, which I share with others who have also bought and mentioned this, is that the nut that connects to the shower pipe is tight so you have to turn the entire extension to tighten it. I ran the shower at the temperature I normally use (which appears to be 103°F) for about 5 minutes and there were no leaks or weird noises. Nada. That works great. Now, touching on the name (harharhar), we only have 23 inches of space (it's more like 22 7/8 inches) right from the start of the threads on the shower pipe. I'm thinking about getting a longer extension (maybe 16" or 18") to get the new shower head much higher and be able to point it straight down. I do not know. But whatever, I'm happy. This is definitely an upgrade and a great accessory for him.
