HotelSpa extension worked for 2 weeks. It didn't drip and the handles were firm enough to keep the heavy showerhead from falling. After two weeks of use, the bottom regulator fell apart completely and water was splashing everywhere. The lack of a rotary adapter on the back also made it unattractive. When fully tightened, which is necessary to prevent leakage, the lever is at a 45 degree angle and looks very awkward to my liking. I do not recommend. Rather spend a little more for higher quality.

This is one in a long line of this product. I buy every two years. For some reason whoever installed our shower adjusted it to about 5ft 6" when I am 5ft 8" and my husband is 6ft 6". This hand saves lives! It makes washing our hair a breeze, we no longer have to crouch down to wet and lather our hair. The only downside is that they last about a year and then start to leak at the joints. After another year, it was time to buy a new one and start the process over.

Works great except for one issue I had. The nut on the end that connects to the shower pipe doesn't move independently of the rest of the lever. To keep it tight enough not to leak, the arm ended up pointing to the side so it was sticking out of the wall instead of down like I wanted. I may be able to fix this by adding some tape to tighten and seal in the not fully tightened position. Otherwise, I'm happy with the ease of use and the overall quality of the product.
