Excellent quality construction. Lightweight yet durable. I use it to carry a full DXP trunk (I don't unfold panniers). This solved the problem of not having a place to attach a rack to my road bike - no connection points. The great thing is that you can easily take it off for weekend trips. While not recommended, I use it on a carbon fiber seatpost with no problem. Be careful and get the right version. The choice between down, straight or upslope version depends on your bike size and setup. The most important thing to be aware of is that the CLAMP CAN WASTE YOUR INNER THIGH! Check the position in relation to the saddle. If your saddle is fairly far from the seatpost (i.e. a lower, more streamlined position), the clip will touch your inner thigh when your leg is fully extended (especially on the right side).
