Tronex is the bomb when it comes to great jewelry pliers. They may be more expensive than other wire cutters you see out there, but they're worth the difference in price! My only warning: don't exceed the maximum recommended wire gauge these (or other wire cutters for that matter) are rated for. If you exceed these limits, your cutters will eventually become damaged and you will see less return on accurate cutting performance. Please trust me on this tip as I've exceeded those limits and my cutters have been damaged - while still quite serviceable, they can "in tight, confined spaces" don't make good clean cuts. like in old times. It was my fault, not the product! As an additional note/suggestion, I loaned them to a good friend of mine who was having trouble with the accuracy of her own jewelry pliers. After only using it 3-4 times (as with individual cuts), she immediately ordered a pair.
