I don’t understand why many people are wary of these Rotels, it’s quite a decent sound. After the budget Denon received a noticeable increase in sound, the same "air", purity, transparency appeared. The scene became three-dimensional, the sound came off the speakers, there was more volume. The tone controls are now in the neutral position, I finally heard clean and natural high frequencies, now I can even distinguish the sound of iron, for example "Zildjian" from "Paiste". The amplifier plays absolutely all genres of music, even such complex material as classical and metal. Now you can safely listen to a couple of terabytes of "heavy metal". I listen mainly to 16bit, but it also sounds excellent in Mp3, I tried it from a Meizu 16th smart phone via the Shpongle "Live in London" bluetooth, the sound is also not bad, the voices of the vocalists are not blurry, but clearly defined in space. Bundle: Denon dcd 800 ne, QED interconnect, Dali Oberon 3 acoustics. In general, I am very pleased with this amplifier, and the one who says that there is no difference in sound between a Yamaha for 15 and a rotel for 70 is frankly disingenuous, otherwise people would not rise up up the high stairs!
