Review on 🌞 Sun 28 Inch Classic Chrome/Black Unicycle: Sleek and Stylish for Advanced Unicycling by Richard Cunningham

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Read this from a man who actually travels a lot (not just studying).

I'm very picky when it comes to unicycles. I have ridden a 20" TorkerLX, a 26" Nimbus and a 24" Chinese Junk. This unicycle threw them all off track. The first and most important thing that struck me is how comfortable the seat is. Nimbus unicycles are more than twice the price of this one before shipping and the seats are terribly hard.Although they are leather they are just as comfortable to sit on as a rock. The seat on this unicycle is very soft and has good comfort size and offers perfect support and comfort while maintaining handling.I had no problem with it being too curved as someone said in the reviews.Secondly I will confirm the build quality of the unicycle.Everything seems as solid as the Nimbus my friend. The construction is almost the same with the only difference being that the frame has a T-shape that looks like an inverted U. The welds are very good and the frame feels stiff and strong. D The seat clamp holds everything in place very well and is easily adjustable if needed. The tire he brought is actually (surprisingly) of very good quality. It's not just a cheap fake rubber like so many other unicycles in this price range. I had a tire that was perfect for road use while maintaining traction. The pedals are pretty cheap but they do the job and haven't had any issues so far. The only thing I noticed is that my feet don't stick well when they get dirty, so maybe some metal pedals are ok. Halo and I haven't had any issues with bending or tearing. That being said, this unicycle is NOT designed for tricks, drops, etc. I mainly use this unicycle for commuting and it will last forever. Don't expect it to be able to handle big falls, stairs, etc. Nothing on a unicycle is designed for that, and frankly, if you want to do things like that, you shouldn't even bother looking for a 29-inch. Take Chris Holmes' $800 ammo. Summary: This unicycle exceeds what it was designed for and is a very comfortable and reliable cruiser that is agile, fun and fast. Treat it right and it will last you forever.

Cons
  • Not happy with everything
