When we got the huge spool with the blue lights we left them on the spool and plugged them into the socket and they were very bright I loved it. We took them off and left them inside our house, on the spool, in a box, 2 or 3 weeks, brought to the festival, fixed under a canopy, turned on, worked about two minutes and went out, two led bulbs had burn marks inside I thought it would be easy "No. The lamps should have little scissor marks every few feet showing where it's safe to cut off and attach a new end. There was both of us sitting side-by-side, searching slow and couldn't find any distinguishing features.times we tried.it was a huge waste of time and money.we always provided lighting so it made the evening kills. We ended up having to buy some small 10ft filament from Walmart to light up our festival canopy and it worked great.
