First of all I would like to say that I am giving these funnels five stars not because they are the best in the world but because they are the best funnels I have ever had. It's correct to talk about ribs that allow air to escape from the target reservoir, although they don't give much space between the funnel and the inside of what you're using for the target. But the space they offer is perfectly adequate for the intended purpose. They balance well on the target container as they don't have a large grip on one side that tends to weigh one side down. The small thumb rest and ventilation ribs are made of a material that looks more like rubber than the plastic body of the funnel. making them easier to process. NO FUCKING WITH THESE KIDS! The outside of the hoppers are textured plastic which gives them the LEAST grip when handling, while the inside of the hoppers are VERY smooth and smooth making them easy to clean. was confused as to where the filter went or how it was supposed to work, THEN discovered that the larger of the two funnels has three small protrusions that allow you to "snap" the filter into place. These "bulges" are NOT present in the smaller block. A strainer is very useful for straining leftover fries from the oil they were fried in (or anything similar that requires a strainer), although the holes in the strainer are large enough for SMALL particles to pass through. This is NOT suitable for loose tea. The dimensions below were measured with an electronic caliper and are approximate. rounded to one decimal place.
