Review on Digital Kitchen Countdown Teacher Batteries by Mandy Johnson

I wanted to love this timer. It's a simple, easy-to-read design, and entering the time with a simple twist rather than a series of knobs is the right choice. The ability to adjust the volume and duration of the beep is a win, as is the placement of a single power button at the top. Unfortunately it doesn't work reliably. The first device I ordered had a pronounced electronic squeaking/humming noise during operation that made it impossible for me to focus, and also occasionally switched itself off spontaneously during use. I brought it back for a second. The noise is still there (albeit quieter and only occasionally), but it still occasionally cuts out during use: around 10-20% of my timers drop out.
