I was excited to try out the MetalCloak DuroSpring bump stops for my JT Gladiator rear suspension, especially after hearing about the "enhanced comfort and control" they were supposed to provide. Unfortunately, I was left feeling underwhelmed after installing them. While they were fairly easy to install and made in the USA, I didn't notice much of a difference in terms of comfort or control. The microcellular urethane material just didn't provide the level of bump absorption I was hoping for, and I found myself feeling every jolt on the road. To make matters worse, the "durable" claim didn't hold up either. After just a few weeks of use, I started to notice some significant wear and tear on the bump stops. They just didn't seem to be holding up as well as I had hoped. Overall, the MetalCloak DuroSpring bump stops weren't terrible, but they certainly didn't live up to the hype. For the price point, I would have expected a much more noticeable improvement in comfort and control.
