This device is truly one of a kind and I am very pleased with only one small disappointment. I have many hours of experience connecting vehicles and installing LED lights inside and outside of vehicles in almost every conceivable location on a vehicle. The challenge for each is to get the cables into the cabin in a "clean” way that feels like it was made at the factory. With this setup, you can add lights without worrying about how to wire through the firewall. Below are the pros and cons. Pros: Eliminating a firewall makes installation much easier and less time consuming. The fob is very responsive The cables are well protected The device itself responds quickly to fob activation Cons: I connected lamps that have multiple functions and this only allowed the flashing function but couldn't cycle through them all. This is acceptable to me as the customer wanted a strobe function above all else. The key fob appears to be too light, raising doubts as to whether it will stand up to abuse. The device makes a "click" sound that is very audible. This is not a problem when the machine is running, but is very noticeable when the engine is off.
