- no cables are routed through the firewall, then the installation of the panel and relay is ok. I've used it maybe a hundred times just to see if it lasts - it lasts. - I attached velcro to the bottom of the remote and to my switch just below the armrest. I can touch the remote control with my fingertips - the perfect wiring harness is very high quality and thickly wrapped.

Installed quickly with no problems. But later, with about 6 keys and that remote on my keychain, it turned on the light just moving in my pocket. He ended up unknowingly turning it on for the 40th time, not catching it and draining the battery. I can't go camping and stuff, leaving the remote in the car, which is basically the same as having a switch on the dashboard.

Works great. Doesn't look like garbage. The switch was extensively tested before installation and has been working without problems for 2 months. Much better range than expected. The receiver is in the back of my SUV and with a full remote battery the range is over 50 feet. I would like them to sell one with two remotes or at least sell additional remotes separately. I don't want to rebuild my headlights if/when I lose the key fob or it dies.

This remote control is very handy! You were looking at something beautiful, like your car's dashboard, and you thought I didn't want to make a hole in the dashboard for the switch, otherwise there wouldn't be room for the switch!
