Review on Audio INTRO Premium Headphones Universal by Wade Meeks

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Surprisingly good sound. If you take off the comfort foam in the ear pads :)

I bought these late last year after reading some positive reviews but even after over 40 hours of use as recommended by the manufacturer I still found the Sounded pretty muddy. , flat and just out of focus. I have several headphones - Fostex T50RP MK3, Sennheiser HD 558, Harman Kardon BT, Sony MDR-V6, Grado SR80e, and while I certainly don't expect such cheap headphones to go together, I expected something close to Koss KSC75 performance coming, but that was far, far from it. I've been taking them out and listening to them again and again for the past few months to see if my ears or brain have adjusted to the sound. no BEFORE I removed the leather covers from the earcups and removed the foam, and voila, they went from "ugh" to "not bad for $10!" Whereas before I literally could never use them because the sound was sooo bad for my ears, I now take them on short walks when I don't want to be afraid of a little splatter, dust or whatever when I take them out. . but I don't feel like stuffing in-ear headphones into my ear canals. Comfort has definitely suffered, but oddly not as much as I might have imagined, and on a short walk of an hour or less I don't find them uncomfortable without cushions. Short story: I love the color, the simple design, just one cord on the right earcup, on-cord controls for pause/play, skip to the next, or skip to a track, and the sound is nice now, and very much at this price point satisfactory .
