I've used an Easypress hand press and various types of press pads and only pressed a few types of items. Our vinyl equipment consists of both a Cameo 3 vinyl cutter and a simple press, which is basically a portable large iron. While easypress sufficed for shirts, sweatshirts and drawstring backpacks, putting both hands on the handle and shifting my body weight to the iron has always been a guessing game as to how much pressure I'm applying. It can be a mini workout and the heat gets on my face and I hate getting sweat on the clothes other people buy. Firstly, this heat press comes professionally packaged and undamaged, which was important to me with such a large, heavy product. With this Vehipa heat press, I can easily remove clothing from a 12" x 15" rug by sliding the base forward toward me and away from the hot heating element hovering above. With over 15 successful heat transfers to shirts and sweatshirts and over 30 sheet face masks, I can attest to this being a consistent press. I have also used a thinner and more complex type of heat transfer vinyl such as holographic foil, striped flock that feels like suede, and thick brick HTV stock for shirts and sweatshirts. As far as t-shirts go, this press is a workhorse that does a solid transfer compared to my easypress iron. The large rubber mat offers enough space to cover even large Gildan sweatshirts. The swivel arm is so convenient that I can safely place a garment on the pillow without having to place the Easypress on the pillow or singe my arm hair on the clamshell model. The push button is solid and allows me to dial in the right amount of pressure before using the clamp.
