I haven't used this webcam much, only a few times when I was at my computer when people were calling on skype. On the other hand, the person told me that my video is clear with the selected background image and the sound quality is clear. Sliding lens cover prevents dust accumulation. The cable is just long enough to connect the webcam on top of the left monitor (if dual monitor) to my desktop PC on the right floor, leaving only an inch. I love this webcam. Just another good quality product from China.
