Lightweight, fairly durable and we're being developed. Very important!

I am a Preschool Physiotherapist who travels from school to school in New York and works exclusively with 3-5 year old preschoolers. This tricycle bus is well made and very easy to use. This works well in the 3-5 year range. My growing kids are getting the most of it, but the orientation of the seat and pedals allows them to still use it. If your child is above the 50th percentile and 5th percentile, go for the larger one as you'll only get one season or less of it. The handle on the seat is very useful. The seat not only supports, but also allows children to explore different poses. There are 3 things that make this awesome bike insanely profitable; 1) The steering wheel link has a slight play. I wish it had a tighter tolerance. 2) I would like the seat to have a button to raise/lower or move it forward/backward. There's a button that folds it in half, which is a little useful. Additional cost and materials increase the adjustable seat. 3) The handle is very short. I believe this is done to limit stress on the plastic crank connector and at this weight and price a short handle would probably prevent it from breaking quickly. This is a fantastic trike that folds down to a compact size for easy portability. . It's no substitute for the heavy, one-ton tricycles you see at pre-K centers. They cost between $200 and $250 each and are very heavy. They are great on their own and much more durable (I stand on my back all the time while helping the kids learn to ride). You need to cover this subject, which I think is easy because it is. However, I have accidentally dropped it from quite a height many times and children have abused it with no problem. Solid purchase.
